Abstract

During the period 13 September 1985 to 31 March 1987, KM Sciences furnished support to the radiation effects programs of the Radiation-Matter Interactions Branch of the Naval Research Laboratory in the areas of collecting, manipulating, analyzing, and displaying experimental data, in writing, modifying, converting, and extending computer codes for modeling physical phenomena and in graphical presentation of experimental data and result os computations. Two major tasks were supported: (1) computer simulation of the effects of particle beams on materials and (2) experimental measurements of the effects of particle beams on materials.
