Application of a Database System for Korean Military Personnel Management.

Abstract

This thesis present a application of data base system for Republic of Korean military personnel management system. In order to maximize the utilization of personnel resources computerized personnel information system is needed. An important consideration in database design is to assure that it can be used for a wide variety of application and can be changed quickly and independently. For this purpose, we discuss about normal forms including functional dependency concept. A simple data base using dBASE III+ is implemented with IBM pc, and is designed for the user who does not have computer experience, and is based on the thearetical design problems.
