Archaeological Survey and Testing at Perry Lake, Jefferson County, Kansas.

Abstract

In 1985 an archaeological survey of 2700 ac and National Register testing of sites 14JF34, 14JF320 and 14JF366 was conducted at Perry Lake. A total of 23 newly recorded sites and 30 previously recorded sites were located. Further National Register testing is recommended for several sites. Sites 14JF34, 14JF320 and 14JF366 are not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
