Abstract

This specification establishes the development, test, qualification, and performance requirements of a computer program identified as the Rapid Application Generator (RAP). The RAP is used to translate textual definitions of interactive database applications into programs that access data bases via the Common Data Model (CDM). The application definitions are compiled by the RAP through calls to FLAN. The application Definition Language in which the database applications are expressed includes the Forms Definition Language and other statement types.
