The TE is an IISS application and as much can be invoked from the IISS function menu. It provides IISS users with file editing capabilities. The TE also works in conjunction with the UI Form Processor to provide the ability to edit ITEMs displayed on a form. In this mode it is referred to as the FP Text Editor and can be invoked by the terminal user of any application that uses the FP. Editing functions such as inserting, deleting, moving, and replacing text are available. Keywords: Computer aided manufacturing.
