Laser Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Pollutants

Abstract

This FY85 Final Report on the program entitled Laser Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Pollutants covers the period 1 October 1984 to 30 September 1985. The work was supported by the Air Force Engineering and Services Center. This is the FY85 Final Report on the program entitled Laser Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Pollutants supported by the Air Force Engineering and Services Center. The specific tasks which were conducted during FY85 for this research program consisted of the following: (a) The continuation of the Co:MgF2 DIAL measurement of atmospheric species, and (b) Initial remote sensing demonstration of a HC1 plume in the atmosphere. Each of these tasks is described in detail in the following sections. Supportive documentation is included in the appendices.
