Applications of Methyldichlorosilane in the Preparation of Silicon-Containing Ceramics.

Abstract

Methyldichlorosilane is a useful starting material in the preparation of silicon-containing ceramics. Its hydrolysis, aminolysis and sodium condensation give products whose further polymerization or cross-linking yields useful perceramic polymers.
