Isothermal Crystallization of Polyphosphazenes by DSC. Part 1. Poly-(Bis(trifluoroethoxy) phosphazene).

Abstract

Work has been conducted on the isothermal crystallization kinetics of poly(bis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene), PBFP, and poly-(bis(phenoxy)phosphazene), PBPP, in both the T(1) and melting transition regions. This paper presents preliminary DSC results for PBFP's kinetics in the T(1) transition region. Aurami analysis of these data supports a two dimensional mechanism (n=2). An explanation of this morphology is presented.
