Magnetite and Magnetotaxis in Bacteria and Algae

Abstract

We are using Mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements in conjunction with electrochemical, pH and optical spectroscopic measurements to study the mechanisms of iron containing core of these proteins.
