An understanding of these factors could enable future students to perform better academically. this understanding could also prove useful i the screening process used to select Naval Officers for study in Administrative Sciences at the Naval Postgraduate School. The findings indicate that undergraduate grade-point average, prior accounting course work, and prior financial management work experience are the most important influences on success in accounting courses at NPS.
