Plume Mechanics and Aerosol Growth Processes.

Abstract

Results of research on major topics in aerosol science and technology are summarized. These include: (1) Formation of liquid and solid particles by nucleation and growth; (2) Influence of smoke plume/puff dispersion on aerosol growth; (3) Nonlinear interactions of laser beams with aerosols; (4) Aerosol filtration.
