Abstract

The theme of the 1986 workshop was the role of the Corps economists and social scientists in financial and cost recovery analysis. The intention was to develop a better understanding of new policies regarding water project financing and cost recovery in the development of water projects. This gathering of Corps technical specialist and influential individuals representing non-Federal interests, provided a better understanding of the many and varied concerns, requirements and constraints which must be faced in the coming years.
