Technology Upgrade of a Silicon Compiler.

Abstract

A 1.5 micron dual layer metal scaleable CMOS standard cell library is inserted into the NMOS based silicon compiler, MacPitts. The MacPitts data-path consisting of a collection of registers and arithmetic/logic units (organelles) and sequenced by a three phase clock was modified to accept two phase clocking and SCMOSMOS organelles.
