Hardening Materials to Repetitively Pulsed Lasers. Phase 2. DNA Single Pulse Program

Abstract

In support of the single pulse program, consider the following four areas; plasma ignition, pressure at the wall, impulse and supersonic radiation waves, in all of these areas theory was compared with data with generally excellent agreement and the overall conclusion of this work is that the understanding of the phenomena important for single pulse damage in atmosphere is in hand.
