Abstract

The increased use of emergency room services within a manpower constrained health care facility requires innovative methods to improve the quality and efficiency of emergency room services. This study analyzes the emergency room services at the Army's largest community hospital and identifies ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the hospital's emergency room services.
