External Magnetic Field Effects on the Excited States of Iridium(I) and Rhodium(I) Complexes.

Abstract

Luminescences and excited state lifetimes have been measured for four iridium (I) and rhodium (I) complexes at 4 K as a function of magnetic field strength. Induced spectra exhibit a B-2 dependence while the lifetimes are function of B2.
