Discussion on the Modelling and Processing of Signals fom an Acousto-Optic Spectrum Analyzer.

Abstract

This report discusses the modeling of CW signals generated by an AcoustoOptic Spectrum Analyzer (AOSA). It also shows how this calculation can be related to pulse modulated signals. In its second part, it discusses the processing of those signals to detect and to estimate the carrier frequency and the power of an input radar signal. It also proposes a system block diagram to implement the former two functions. (Keywords: Modeling, Processing, Detection, Estimation, Acoustooptic, Spectrum Analysis).
