Software Data Base Development. Volume 1.

Abstract

This document identifies the data elements that need to be collected and methodologies to be used when developing a Software Cost Database. It prevents various data collection formats that can be used for data collection. It identifies the various DID's that should be modified to enhance the software data collection effort. It also maps the various data elements from the data collection formats to several existing software models including COCOMO, PRICE-S, SLIM and JS II. Keywords: State of the art; Cost estimates.
