International Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics,

Abstract

This conference, held in July 1987 in Paris, France, gave clear evidence of the contribution of applied mathematics to the field of computational fluid mechanics, particularly in the fields of discrete vortex methods, multigrid methods, and lattice gas hydrodynamics. Selected presentations are reviewed. Keywords: Viscous flows; Vortex flows; Turbulent flows; Convergence acceleration methods.
