Economic Analysis (EA) Support for Automated Information System Control Board (AISCB) Working Group. Part 1. Cataloging-Tools-on-Line (CTOL) Automated Information System (AIS) Economic Analysis.

Abstract

Current DLA cataloging operations use a manual information system to prepare new item requests and maintain existing cataloging transactions. This economic analysis assesses the economic feasibility of replacing the current manual operations with a CTOL (Cataloging Tools On Line) Automated Information System (AIS). In the economic analysis, comparison analyses of costs and benefits are done between the current method of operation and the CTOL AIS proposal. Sensitivity analyses are performed on significant costs of the AIS
