An Analysis of the Acquisition of the Penguin Missile.

Abstract

Program Managers within the Department of Defense are under increasing pressure to conform to Congressional mandates and Department of Defense Directives to ensure standardization of weapons with the NATO allies. There are many unique problems to be considered prior to making a decision. This thesis will review the Penguin Missile acquisition, the problems encountered and how they were handled and the alternatives available to the PRogram Manager to handle these problems.
