A Gram-Schmidt Space-Time Adaptive Canceller Using Adaptive Lattice Filters.

Abstract

A new algorithm is presented for the implementation of an adaptive space-time canceller. This algorithm is a combination of the Gram Schmidt and adaptive lattice filter orthogonalization techniques. The new algorithm is shown to have the potential of using far less hardware or equivalently, less numerical operations than other space-time canceller configurations. Keywords: Adaptive filter, Radar, Adaptive cancellation, Electromagnetic counter countermeasures.
