A Zonal Approach for the Solution of Coupled Euler and Potential Solutions of Flows with Complex Geometries.

Abstract

A block structured solution schemes which was developed for the solution of three dimensional euler equations was implemented on the Intel Hypercube computer. By using this scheme, a complex flow problem is divided into a series of blocks. Each block is stored on an individual processor of the system and solved. The boundary conditions between the neighboring blocks are iteratively calculated. The communication of the boundary conditions between neighboring blocks occur on individual I/O channels. Keywords: Transonic flow.
