Buhne Point Shoreline Erosion Demonstration Project. Volume 4. Appendices H-L.

Abstract

This report provides detailed information on the rebuilding of the Buhne Point marine, beach, the construction of retaining structures, and the establishment of native dune vegetation to prevent wind erosion. Appendices document physical and numerical model studies done at the Waterways Experimentation Station for the structures and beach, as well as the post-construction and post-planning monitoring programs. Buhne Point is located about 250 air miles north of San Francisco, on the east shore of Humboldt Bay, California.
