Value Engineering Study of Standard Family of Military Horizontal and Vertical Air Conditioners.

Abstract

A market survey was performed to select soft start controllers for use with the standard family of military horizontal and vertical air conditioners. Additionally, control logic circuitry was designed and a life cycle cost model was developed to show the economic impact of adding procurement costs for the controllers and control logic circuitry to obtain substantial savings costs.
