Results of the International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters (2nd) Held in Sevres, France in June-July 1985,

Abstract

The second International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters was carried out with six instruments, from five countries occupying pre-assigned sites at the Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). The objective was to learn of possible systematic errors associated with these instruments and also to learn of the different approaches used by other experimenters in the field of absolute gravimetry.
