Study of IL1 Structure Activity Relationship by Mass Spectrometry.
Abstract
The initial studies outlined in this report demonstrate that Biemann's approach to the sequencing of polypeptides by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry can be carried out on the bench top gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer - data system developed by Hewlett Packard. This technique has been used to determine the complete primary structure of glucagon and 50% of the primary structure of Tumor Necrosis Factor.
