Monte Carlo Reliability Analysis.

Abstract

The work carried out is summarized: The Monte Carlo simulation methods are generalized to treat nonMarkovian systems and applied to problems with time and batch replacement maintenance policies. Trimodular redundant systems with reconfigurable spares are also simulated. A new graphical technique is developed for the presentation of Monte Carlo results. Finally, an investigation of the reliability behavior of brittle solids is initiated.
