High Power, High Frequency Radiation from Beam-Plasma Interactions.

Abstract

A theory has been developed for the probability distribution of the electric field in a highly turbulent plasma environment, Experimental optical studies have been carried out to quantify the distribution function for electrical fields less than 10 kV/cm. Preliminary studies have been conducted of the anisotropy of microwave emission from beam plasma systems. Keywords: Experiment, Turbulence, Electron beams.
