Risk Assessment Methodology for Software Supportability (RAMSS): User's Handbook.

Abstract

The Risk Assessment Methodology for Software Supportability (RAMSS) was developed for the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) to provide decision makers with information from which the risk to the Air Force of supporting a software system can be derived. The purpose of this User's Handbook is: 1) to document the procedures necessary to apply automated and manual tools to accomplish a high level risk assessment of a software system's supportability (in accordance with the RAMSS), and 2) to document procedures necessary to access, update, and modify the historical data base of software maintenance data.
