The United States Coast Artillery.

Abstract

This bibliography includes books and periodical citations on the subject of the U.S. Coast Artillery during it's active Service period as a branch, 1907-1950. In 1950 it was absorbed into either th air defense or field artillery branches. Unit history is also included. The concluding section lists harbor defenses which were constructed from 1794 through 1945 by region, district, state including others beyond the defense perimeter.
