The Characterization of Solutes and Solvent Phases.

Abstract

The characterization of five gas liquid chromatographic stationary phases, using retention data obtained by Laffort and co-workers for 240 solutes, has been carried out by the method of multiple linear regression analysis. Relative gas liquid partition coefficients for as many solutes as possible were correlated against various combinations of parameters.
