Student Mix Software System (SMSS) Rehost.

Abstract

This report documents the rehost and use of the Student Mix Software System (SMSS) for the Zenith 158 personnel computer. SMSS is used at the Air Force Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) to maintain characteristic and background data on students and, in conjunction with prioritized mixing rules, assigns students to seminars. The rehosted SMSS dramatically improves balancing capability, and the over-all utility of the system. The rehosted SMSS is so successful that it is already in operation; it was used to generate the third mix student assignments for ACSC class of 1988.
