Petty Cash Custodian Handbook: A 'Guide for Nonappropriated Fund Petty Cash Custodians in Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Activities.

Abstract

This guide was developed under the sponsorship of LtCol Charles B. Long, Headquarters Air Training Command, Directorate of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation. It consolidates information from five different regulations. The information is relevant to proper administration of nonappropriated petty cash funds in Morale, Welfare, and Recreation activities. The guide includes general do's and don'ts for nonappropriated funds, specific guidance and limitations for petty chase, discusses required forms, and includes a self-inspection checklist for the petty cash custodian. The guide provides simply worded guidance for petty cash custodians in a single source. It can also be used as a training aid for newly assigned petty cash custodians.
