Mutagenic Potential of Nitrosoguanidine in the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Test,

Abstract

The mutagenic potential of NITROSOGUANIDINE was assessed by using the Ames Salmonella/Mammalian Microsome Mutagenicity Test. Tester strains TA97, TA98, TA100, TA102, TA1535, TA1537, and TA1538 were exposed to doses ranging from 1.05 mg/plate to 0.0875 mg/plate. The test compound was not mutagenic under conditions of this test. Keywords: Genetic toxicology, Ames test.
