Light Scattering by Charged Spheres.

Abstract

The major goal of this project was to verify experimentally the theoretical model proposed to describe light scattering by electrically charged spherical particles. The experimental set-up did totally verify this model because of the preliminary nature of the measurements. However the experimental results obtained can be considered as evidence where experimental changes in the light scattering by spherical particles can be ascribed to surface charge effects. Keywords: Light scattering, Resonances, Surface excess charge.
