Comparison of Edge Diffraction Theories.

Abstract

Various edge diffraction theories are examined for the calculation of electromagnetic scatter from flat plates. The theories are compared, their shortcomings are discussed, and possible remedies are briefly described. Keywords: Physical theory of diffraction, Incremental length diffraction coefficient, Method of equivalent currents.
