Enlistment Supply into the Naval Reserve

Abstract

This memorandum develops and estimates an econometric model of enlistments into the Naval Reserve. The analysis incorporates factors such as size of recruiting force, Navy veteran population, local unemployment rates, civilian wages, and recruiting goals.
