Study of the Effects of Drugs upon the Cardiovascular and Respiratory System.

Abstract

During this past year we have: 1. Performed pilot experiments to define the cardiopulmonary actions of the candidate drug, WR-6026 and re-examined the cardiovascular and Pulmonary Effects of WR-6026. A copy of this protocol (originally submitted on 5 August, 1983) is attached. Performed the entire experimental protocol for both drugs (WR-6026 and Primaquine). We are currently in the process of tabulating and analyzing data from these experiments. A comprehensive written report will be forwarded to our contract monitor at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research as soon as possible. A summary of our findings for these studies is attached. Keywords: Antimalarials; Antileishmanials; Blood pressure; Electrocardiography.
