Guide for New CBPO (Consolidated Base Personnel Office) Chiefs Headstart to Excellence.

Abstract

Lack of previous experience in a Consolidated Base Personnel Office(CBPO) can detract from a new CBPO Chief's ability to accomplish the personnel mission. As more inexperienced personnel are assigned, a growing need has developed for guidance to start them on the right track soon after their selection as CBPO Chief. This author developed a guide to identify potential problem areas, suggested avenues to eliminate problems, and recommended time sensitive actions be taken from the moment of selection as Chief, CBPO.
