Networking of ACSC (Air Command and Staff College) Microcomputers.

Abstract

This area explores the feasibility and utility of implementing a local area network (LAN) at ACSC. Basic LAN technology and applications are discussed. Three methods of implementing a LAN are explored: Token Rings, Ethernet, and a generalized broadband LAN. The utility of implementing a LAN is explored by speculating on possible staff and student applications at ACSC. A thumbnail implementation plan is also presented.
