An Expert System to Detect Espionage Through Credit Record Analysis

Abstract

Finance has been the prime motivation in many recent espionage cases. This thesis expanded the prototype Manpower Financial Tracking Expert System (MFTES) that analyzes individual financial profiles in order to detect the potential of an employee to engage in espionage activities. The architecture of MFTES has modules that capture Control Strategy, Taxonomy of Concepts Expert Rules, and Numerical Processing. During evaluation, it successfully followed the documentary trail for 75 employee credit reports. Keywords: Theses, Computer programs.
