Value Engineering 'Copperhead' Evaluation of the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck

Abstract

This final technical report details the results of a preliminary Value Engineering (VE) study performed on the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT). This study was performed to determine whether to proceed with the inclusion of a mandatory VE clause in the HEMTT contract, thereby making an intensive VE study of the vehicle a requirement. The results of the preliminary study indicate an intensive VE study would be inappropriate at this time.
