The Atchafalaya River Delta. Report 2. Field Data. Section 1: Atchafalaya Bay Program Description and Data. Volume 1. Main Text

Abstract

This report describes data collected for use in development and verification of numerical and physical models employed to predict the evolution of the Atchafalaya Bay Delta. Stemming from a data collection program in this area during 1980 through 1983, this report presents representative results. To make the data accessible for use by others and to provide a permanent record of the instrumentation and techniques is the purpose of this report in the series. Data collected were: tidal elevation, velocity-conductivity-temperature, and suspended sediment.
