The Chord Distribution for a Right Circular Cylinder

Abstract

Kellerer's integral expression for the differential chord distribution for a right circular cylinder is evaluated numerically after first reducing to Carlson's symmetric elliptic integrals and standard integrals. This distribution has been useful in microdosimetry and currently is being used in single event upset calculations.
