Higher Order Mechanisms of Color Vision.
Abstract
This report covers activities since September 15, 1986. The main accomplishments have been: 1) a comprehensive study of the effects of chromatic content, blur and contrast of targets on vernier acuity and on stereo acuity; 2) the use of a new method of measuring chromatic discrimination under conditions of constant adaptation; and 3) continuation of the study of the chromatic properties of single cells in the monkey cortex.
