Navy Occupational Health Information Management System (NOHIMS). Hazardous Materials Control Module. Operators' Guide

Abstract

This guide explains how a user interacts with the Hazardous Materials Control (HMC) module of the Naval Medical Command's (NAVMED) Navy Occupational Health Information Management System (NOHIMS). The Industrial Hygiene (IH) office can use the HMC module to inform employees of health and safety hazards in the workplace and to track the movement of hazardous materials through the facility. As seen in Figure 2-1, the module performs these functions by maintaining health and safety data on hazardous materials used in the facility, and by tracking who requests information about any hazardous material.
