Mississippi Headwaters Reservoirs Oral History Interviews. Analysis and Interpretive Addendum

Abstract

This analysis has been prepared to accompany the phase I and phase II oral history interview series with retired damtenders in the Mississippi Headwaters region in December of 1986. The primary topic of this research is development of recreational facilities at the Headwaters damsites following World War II. Data was also collected concerning the resort industry in the region throughout the 20th century and on native American - White relations in the area.
