Mississippi Headwaters Reservoirs Oral History Interviews Pilot Project. Phase 2

Abstract

This report documents oral history field research conducted for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in December, 1986. The subject concerns the development of public recreational resources at the Mississippi Headwaters reservoirs: Leech, Pine River, Pokegama, Sandy, Gull, and Winnibigoshish. This exploratory study is a pilot project in oral history documentation for the St. Paul district office. The report includes notes on oral history as a methodology, transcript editing, as well as content.
