Mississippi Headwaters Reservoirs Oral History Interviews, Series 1 and 2

Abstract

In recent years, the Army Corps of Engineers has embarked upon a documentation program to preserve aspects of its history. In the Mississippi River Headwaters region, this history includes modernization of the dam facilities and working conditions, and participation in a 20th century resort industry that attracts thousands of visitors to north central Minnesota each year.
